The Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) project was setup to identify how a total place approach could deliver efficiencies and improvements to access health, education, transport services, site safety and site enforcement. A multi-agency Solution Centre programme was set up under a senior partnership based governance group, which included lead members from County and District councils.
Bluemarble facilitated an intensive 10 week Solution Centre programme that developed new operational proposals, underpinned by an outline business case for a new integrated delivery unit across key partners. The proposed new unit will drive out savings and improve performance whilst establishing a consistent countywide strategy and policies. The business case has identified efficiencies in excess of £1.5m per annum. The governance group has approved further work to develop full business case and detailed implementation plans.
"the Bluemarble Solution Centre approach has been instrumental in bringing partners together, breaking down barriers and developing a joint approach …..."
